Preis beim Wettbewerb „Solidarisch leben in Gottes Schöpfung“ ==<br /> <br /> Mit Erfolg hat sich der ökumenische Initiativkreis Holzwickeder Kirchengemeinden „fair und nachhaltig handeln“ um den Schöpfungspreis der Erzdiözese Paderborn beworben.<br /> <br /> Ohne großes Aufheben, aber mit Beharrlichkeit wurden in den Holzwickeder Kirchengemeinden und in der Kommune verschiedene Dinge angestoßen und auf den Weg gebracht.<br /> <br /> * Eingaben an die Kommune und die im Rat vertretenen Parteien, einen Ratsbeschluss zur Unterzeichnung der „Magna Charta RUHR.2010 gegen ausbeuterische Kinderarbeit“ herbeizuführen. (Unterzeichnung am 12.06.2010)<br /> <br /> * Informationsarbeit zur ausbeuterischen Kinderarbeit bei Natur- und Grabsteinen aus Indien. <br /> : Es gab Vorträge und Filme in den Kirchengemeinden zur ausbeuterischen Kinderarbeit. Zudem wurden Info-Flyer erstellt und in den Kirchengemeinden ausgelegt und bei Friedhofsangelegenheiten verteilt.<br /> <br /> * Faire oder regionale Blumen sind ein ganz konkreter Beitrag der Kirchengemeinden, um die Lebensbedingungen von Produzentinnen fair, sozial und ökologisch zu verändern. Die Kirchengemeinden haben dazu Selbstverspflichtungsbeschlüsse gefasst. Durch persönliches, ehrenamtliches Engagement erhält die St. Stephanus Gemeinde reichen Blumenschmuck aus dem häuslichen Garten des früheren Friedhofsgärtners Herrn Holthoff.<br /> :Mit einem Flyer, der in den Kirchen ausliegt und den Brautleuten bei der Anmeldung zur Trauung ausgehändigt wird, werden die Brautleute aufgefordert, ihren Brautschmuck aus fair gehandelten oder regionalen Blumen zu gestalten. Der Flyer verrät auch, wo man in Holzwickede solche Blumen erhalten kann.<br /> <br /> * Über die Gemeindegrenzen hinaus wurden die Anregungen und Informationen in Vorträgen weitergegeben. Zudem wurde an die Bistumsleitung herangetreten, selbst initiativ zu werden und im eigenen Beschaffungswesen Zeichen für Gerechtigkeit und Bewahrung der Schöpfung zu setzen.<br /> <br /> * Fairer Kaffee bei kirchlichen Veranstaltungen, Verkauf von fairen Waren, Info- und Verkostungsstände zum Beispiel bei Gemeindefesten und Adventsmärkten sowie Vorträge zum fairen Handel, zur Bewahrung der Schöpfung und zur Gerechtigkeit standen und stehen auf der Agenda des ökumenischen Initiativkreises „fair und nachhaltig handeln“.<br /> <br /> Im Herbst hofft der Initiativkreis, dass er die Kommune dafür gewinnen kann, sich um den Titel „Fairtrade Town“ zu bewerben.<br /> <br /> Der Initiativkreis ist nur sehr klein.
